PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Despite the uncertainty about the October 1, 2003 implementation date of the FTC's national 'Do Not Call' list, new music label RyKy Records (tm) is releasing the song, "Please Do Not Call Me", on Wednesday as part of a double-release, two-album debut by songwriter and musician Joseph F.M. Pokorny.

The two albums being released are "Love Is" and "AMERICA, My Home", according to Neal R. Voron, president of Voron Communications, co-founder of RyKy Records along with Pokorny.

Lyrics for both albums are available for free download from http://www.RyKyRecords.com and CD's are available for purchase from SpringBound Music, http://www.SpringBound.com .

"Please Do Not Call Me", one of 12 original songs performed by Pokorny on the "Love Is" album, is a "relationship" song about someone who does not want to be called anymore because " 'I've got a life to live. It's time to live it! It doesn't revolve around you!' " Voron said. The song was co-written by Voron and Pokorny.

The "Love Is" album also includes the "Love Is" title song; "Dream The American Dream", an upbeat, positive tune about making things happen "if you try"; and a variety of other songs about life and love.

The "AMERICA, My Home" album features seven original songs plus an instrumental version of the patriotic "America, My Home" title song, which Pokorny wrote in October 2001 as a tribute to the victims of the tragedies of September 11, 2001.

Two other original patriotic songs are featured on the album "Flag of the U.S.A." and "We Stand United". The remaining four titles give a glimpse into the scope of lyric and musical talent Pokorny ookornffers.

Both

albums include guitar accompaniment by Philadelphia guitarist Don McCarty.

Pokorny, 59, has written over 700 songs and about one dozen musicals and cantatas in the last 25 years, most while caring for his mother, Mary, who was bedridden for 20 years prior to her death in 1998.

He and Voron, 42, met in the mid-1980's, and Pokorny adapted some of Voron's lyrics to music in the first of their collaborative efforts, "We Thought She'd Live Forever". The song is included on the "AMERICA, My Home" album and will be in Pokorny's not-yet-released "Wind Dance Musical".

Voron, an acquaintance who had not been in frequent contact with Pokorny for most of the past 15 years, re-established contact with him in April after an e-mail from someone who had seen the lyrics for "We Thought She'd Live Forever" on the Internet and wanted to obtain a CD, which was not yet available.

The two men got together at Pokorny's home studio and Voron was "awestruck to learn about the beautiful -- and huge -- collection of music Joe had created."

"I was happy for Joe about what he had accomplished, but I was very sad that his work had not had a real opportunity to reach its potential audience -- and I told him so!"Voron, an Internet marketer and site developer, said.

So, they decided to create RyKy Records (tm) through Voron Communications to release Joe's music and to pursue "Remarkably Key Initiatives for a Better World (tm)"

"We believe in the power of lyrics to make a positive difference in societn sy,"Voron said.

Pokorny said he hopes RyKy's efforts will help encourage people to "Dream the dream that only you can see."

The albums will initially be available online, thanks to the "burn-on-demand" services provided by SpringBound Music, and Voron hopes demand for the songs will facilitate developing offline distribution channels.

"SpringBound's technology and fulfillment services are empowering RyKy Records to move forward,"Voron said. "Without them, the barriers to entry for an independent musician like Joe Pokorny -- regardless of how talented -- are quite formidable. We hope to create a success model with RyKy that will encourage other artists to reach their audiences, too."

Brian White, president of SpringBound Music, said, "We at SpringBound Music are pleased to be working with RyKy Records and Voron Communications to enable artists like Joseph Pokorny, who as an extensive song catalog, the ability to efficiently release multiple titles at once without incurring the huge up-front costs and lead times associated with traditional CD manufacturing."

Voron said RyKy Records intends to pursue an aggressive schedule to release additional CD's from Pokorny, including his musicals and cantatas. A Christmas CD, "Christmas Is Love", is expected to be released soon.
